Anna quilt block (with window)

Anna from Frozen

I finally completed the doll carrying case.  The cover is Anna from the Disney movie "Frozen".

It resembles a little girls book with handles.  The cover is wrapped in clear plastic to protect the quilted block of Anna.

Inside the tote is a little miniature quilted bed with a folded-over bed sheet, and a matching pillow case with machine embroidered details.

"Love is an Open Door"   This is the zippered pocket where the dolls clothes are put away.

The zippered pocket is like center page

The back page of the tote has another pocket to hold  little treasures.

Pony carrying case and doll

The Last Wild Pony

Tag Along Sally

I have competed another Sally doll, carrying case and beautiful wardrobe.  The cover on this case tells a story of the last free pony.  It is all hand applique and one of a kind.

My brother "Papo" has created a story line video for this pony.  Please see video and enjoy.

This set would make a wonderful gift for a special little girl.  If you are interested, please contact me at: classicshoebag@yahoo.com.

Tropical Island carrying case

Tag Along Sally

This is my latest doll and carrying case.  Sally is a cloth doll and her carry case is one of a kind.  The covers tell a story.  This one is a Caribbean scene with a beach hut and a surf board leaning on a coconut tree.

The cover is a quilt block with applique handwork.  Inside is her quilted bed and soft pillow.  The center page is a zippered pocket for Sally's clothes.

Castle quilt block

Tag-Along-Sally

I used to sew my clothes years ago. For some unknown reason I put my sewing machine away and there it remained for years.  One day I received a box in the mail from my sister Wanda.  Whom is now with the Lord. (I miss her very much).

The box contained many scraps of fabric, trimmings, ribbons and tiny craft findings.  She knew how much I enjoyed sewing, even as a child.

My mother used to make our dresses on one of those antique  iron Singer machines.  I would pick up the scraps of fabrics and create my own Barbi clothes.

This box also contained a little raggedy doll, a doll case and some doll clothes.  I refashioned the case (doll carrying case), the doll, and made my own fashion wardrobe.

Here is another one of my dolls and carrying case.  I named her Sally, after one of Wanda's friend.  The carrier  has a quilted bed and a zipped pocket that stores her wardrobe.

An original by Blanca.

Fairy quilt block

Tag-Along-Sally

My latest doll carrying case is my best and favorite.  It is a Fairy quilt block.  Custom made for a friend.  I make the cloth dolls and design their wardrobe.  The carrier resembles a child's story book with a cover story.  Inside the carrier is a quilted bed, a zippered page and a pocket.
